Macerozyme R-10 (Imported)
Macerase R-10 (Macerozyme R-10) is a macerating enzyme derived from Rhizopus species, containing high pectinase and hemicellulase activities. It can be used to degrade plant tissues for isolating single cells. It is often used in combination with Cellulase "Onozuka R-10" to prepare plant protoplasts. The preparation of the enzyme solution includes the use concentration of the enzyme, which can be adjusted according to specific experimental conditions or previous experience. Generally, the concentration of cellulase is 1-1.5%, and the concentration of Macerase R-10 is 0.2-0.4%. The prepared enzyme solution is transparent and should be filtered through a low-adsorption 0.45 μm membrane. The enzyme solution (pH 5–7) can be stably stored at 2–8°C for 24 hours. It is recommended to prepare the enzyme solution according to actual needs and use it as soon as possible.
