Rice Leaf Protoplast Preparation and Transformation Kit

This kit is specially designed for rice seedling leaves aged 7-14 days and includes a complete set of reagents for preparation and transformation. It is stored in boxes A and B (Box A -20℃, Box B at room temperature) and, based on 20 mL of enzyme solution per use, it can support 5-10 experiments. Using the enzymatic digestion method, cellulose and pectinases degrade the cell wall to obtain protoplasts, combined with components such as W5, MMg, and PEG transformation solution to ensure efficient operation. The prepared protoplasts have high activity and yield, and can be directly used for studies such as protein subcellular localization and protein interaction verification. The enzyme solution is freshly prepared and inactivated by 55℃ water bath treatment to deactivate miscellaneous enzymes. The process is straightforward without the need for complex equipment, providing a reliable tool for rice molecular biology research.
