Gaoshi No.1 Synthetic Agar Medium

Gauze's Synthetic Medium No. 1 is divided into two types: the liquid medium, namely Gauze's Synthetic Broth No. 1, and the solid medium, Gauze's Synthetic Agar No. 1 (also known as starch agar medium).It is used for the isolation, cultivation, observation and identification of actinomycetes as well as the examination of their morphological characteristics. If an appropriate amount of antibacterial agents (such as antibiotics, phenol, etc.) is added to it, this medium can be used to isolate different species of actinomycetes.
