Li in LiAc can change the permeability of the cell membrane, promote the formation of competent cells, and make the cells easy to absorb exogenous. PEG protects the cell membrane in a high concentration of LiAc environment, reduces the excessive damage of LiAc to the cell membrane, and at the same time makes themid and the cell membrane contact more closely. TE buffer can provide a stable pH value environment. This product is 1 M LiAc (10×), which has been filtered and sterilized, and can be diluted into 1.1× TE/LiAc or PEG/LiAc solution, which can be used for the preparation and transformation ofcharomyces cerevisiae competent cells.
