6-BA Storage Solution (1mg/ml), also known as 6-Benzylaminopurine (6-BA) stock solution, is a commonly used cytokinin plant growth regulator stock solution in plant tissue culture. The key is to dissolve 6-BA powder to a concentration of 1mg/ml to prepare a stable stock solution for convenient dilution and use as needed.  This stock solution requires the selection of an appropriate solvent (such as dilute hydrochloric acid or ethanol) to aid dissolution (ensuring that the powder is fully dissolved to guarantee accurate concentration). After preparation, it should be aliquoted into sterile containers and stored at low temperature away from light (to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles that may reduce activity). When in use, it is diluted according to the medium requirements to the final concentration, sterilized together with other components, and mainly used to promote bud differentiation in plant explants, inhibit senescence, and maintain culture material activity.
