Cell lysis buffer for Western and IP

Western and IP cell lysis buffer is a lysis solution used to lyse cells or tissue samples under non-denaturing conditions to prepare protein samples. Cells or tissue samples lysed with this buffer can be used for PAGE, Western blot, immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation (co-IP), and ELISA. This product can be used with animal and plant cells or tissue samples, as well as fungal or bacterial samples. The main components of Western and IP cell lysis buffer are 20mM Tris (pH 7.5), 150mM NaCl, 1% Triton X-100, along with sodium pyrophosphate, β-glycerophosphate, EDTA, Na3VO4, leupeptin, and other inhibitors. It can effectively prevent protein degradation and maintain existing protein-protein interactions. Due to the presence of high concentrations of Triton X-100 and other interfering substances, the protein concentration of samples lysed with this buffer cannot be measured using the Bradford method.
