Pseudomonas Agar Base Medium / CN Agar

Pseudomonas agar medium, also known as Pseudomonas CFC selective agar, is used for the selective isolation and cultivation of Pseudomonas. Testing principle: Gelatin peptone and acid hydrolyzed casein provide the oxygen source; glycerol provides the carbon source; potassium sulfate and magnesium chloride promote the production of pyocyanin; agar is the solidifying agent of the medium; naphthionic acid inhibits non-Pseudomonas Gram-negative bacilli.
