2-(N-Morpholino)ethanesulfonic acid, abbreviated as MES, has the molecular formula C6H13NO4S, a relative molecular mass of 195.24, and a CAS number of 4432-31-9. MES buffer solution can offset or reduce the effects of acids or strong bases on the pH of a solution to a certain extent, thereby maintaining the relative stability of the solution's pH, and it can be used for analytical experiments.
