Lithium chloride (LiCl) has a molecular weight of 42.39 and a molecular formula of LiCl. It can be used for RNA extraction, air conditioning, as well as in fluxes, desiccants, and other applications.Lithium chloride solution is composed of lithium chloride and DEPC water. It is commonly used as a solution for precipitating RNA in molecular cloning experiments.
