Pendimethalin / Naphthalinenacetamide

Naptalamide, also known as Yicao Sheng or Xilite, is a type of auxin inhibitor and herbicide. Naptalamide (50μM) reduces the accumulation of polar auxin indole-3-acetic acid in the maize coleoptile. In monocotyledonous plants, naptalamide inhibits various auxin-dependent physiological processes, such as seed embryo development, lateral root development, apical dominance, and adventitious root formation.
