Mold and Yeast Chromogenic Medium

The chromogenic medium for mold and yeast distinguishes different molds and yeasts based on the enzyme-substrate method through color development. After being cultured at 25-28℃ for 3-5 days, Candida albicans appears blue-green, Candida tropicalis appears blue-green, Candida glabrata appears blue-green, Candida krusei appears blue-green, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae appears blue-green. Molds exhibit cotton-like blue-green colonies, while bacteria are inhibited.
