Dimethylformamide is the abbreviation of N,N-Dimethylformamide (N,N-Dimethylformamide), also known as formamide dimethylamine, with the English abbreviation DMF. Dimethylformamide appears as a colorless, transparent liquid. It is miscible with water, ethanol, ether, chloroform, and most organic solvents, and has good solubility and chemical stability for various organic and inorganic compounds.
