YPD Plus Medium is a nutrient-rich medium for yeast transformation. After completing the yeast transformation heat-shock procedure, resuspending the transformants in YPD Plus Medium for 30-60 minutes helps yeast cells recover and can effectively increase transformation efficiency by 50-100%. It is suitable for transforming yeast strains such as Y2HGold, AH109, or Y187, and is especially suitable for library transformations that require higher transformation efficiency. The three transformation kits launched by Puinte have the following transformation efficiencies: Super Transformation Kit (PT1183-DC) > Classic Transformation Kit (PT1330-DC) > Rapid Transformation Kit (PT1208). The YPD Plus recovery culturing step significantly enhances transformation efficiency.
