Minimal SD Base Gal

Minimal SD Base is composed of ammonium sulfate, trace elements, and glucose mixed in proportion, and it is considered a minimal medium. It can provide the basic substances needed for the survival of wild-type yeast, but it does not contain the amino acids required by mutant strains. This medium needs to be used in conjunction with DO-type amino acid deficiencies to confirm the yeast's auxotrophy or to perform positive transformant screening.
