Minimal SD Base Raf consists of a mixture of ammonium sulfate, trace elements, and cotton-seed sugar in proportion, which belongs to an incomplete. It can provide the basic substances needed for the maintenance of wild-type yeast, but does not contain essential amino acids required for mutant strains. This medium needs to be used with-class defective amino acids to confirm the defect type of yeast or to screen for positive transformants.
