Minimal SD Agar Base Gal/Raf medium is a basal medium synthesized by adding lactose and raffinose polycarbon sources to the nitrogen base (YNB) without amino acids and agar powder. It is often used in combination with dropout (DO) supplements to confirm the nutritional auxotrophic phenotype of yeast and screen yeast transformants. However, during the experiment, it is necessary to select the corresponding medium according to the different promoters of the vector used, such as the G1 promoter for induction expression, which should use the Minimal SD Agar Base Gal/Raf medium.
