Minimal SD Base Gal/Raf with Agar

Minimal SD Base, namely Minimal Synthetical Defined Medium, is a synthetic basal medium on the basis of yeast nitrogen base (YNB) with the addition of lactose and cottonseed sugar as carbon sources. It is often used in combination with dropout (DO) supplements to confirm the nutritional phenotype of yeast and yeast transformants. However, in the experimental process, it is necessary to select the corresponding medium according to the different promoters of the carrier used, such as the Minimal SDar Base Gal/Raf medium should be used for the induction expression of GAL1 promoter.
