L-Tyrosine

Tyrosine is a conditionally essential amino acid for the human body — under normal circumstances, it can be synthesized from phenylalanine in the body (catalyzed by phenylalanine hydroxylase). However, when there is insufficient intake of phenylalanine or metabolic disorders occur, it needs to be obtained through dietary supplementation. Its molecular structure contains a phenolic hydroxyl group (-OH) and an aromatic ring, making it not only a key raw material for protein synthesis but also a precursor for neurotransmitters (dopamine, adrenaline), thyroid hormones (T3, T4), and melanin.
