The 1000× MS vitamin solution is a highly concentrated stock solution of the organic nutrition system of MS medium. Its core is precisely formulated at 1000 times the concentration of the vitamin components in the original MS medium recipe (including inositol, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, niacin, and glycine). It aims to simplify the medium preparation process through a concentrated form and ensure the accuracy and convenience of vitamin component ratios. This solution should be stored at low temperatures and protected from light to prevent component degradation. When used, it is mixed with other components of the MS medium (macronutrients, trace elements, sucrose, etc.) at a 1:1000 ratio (i.e., 1 mL of concentrate per liter of medium) to provide essential coenzyme support for the metabolic activities of plant in vitro tissues (such as callus and tissue-cultured seedlings), ensuring their normal growth, differentiation, and proliferation.
