1000× MT Vitamin Solution

The 1000×MT vitamin solution is a highly concentrated stock solution within the MT medium organic nutrition system. It is based on the original MT medium formula and is precisely compounded at 1000 times the concentration of vitamin components (including inositol and high concentrations of B vitamins, but excluding glycine). When used, the solution is mixed with other MT medium components at a 1:1000 ratio (adding 1 mL per liter of medium). After sterile filtration, it must be stored at low temperatures and protected from light. With its high concentration of B vitamins, it provides strong coenzyme support for plant tissue culture and is particularly suitable for culturing explants with high metabolic demands.
