100× M&W Medium Vitamin Solution

The 100×M&W vitamin solution is a concentrated stock of the organic nutrient system of M&W medium. It is formulated by precisely mixing the vitamin components from the original M&W medium recipe (including inositol, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, niacin, and in some formulations glycine) at 100 times their original concentration. When used, it is mixed with the other components of M&W medium at a 1:100 ratio (10 mL per liter of medium). It should be stored at low temperatures away from light to prevent degradation. This solution primarily supports coenzyme functions in the culture of lower plants such as mosses and ferns, or gametophytes of plants sensitive to nutrients, meeting their normal metabolic and growth needs under low-nutrient conditions.
