1000× NN Vitamin Solution

The 1000× NN vitamin solution is a highly concentrated stock solution of the organic nutrient system of the NN (Nitsch & Nitsch) medium. Its core is precisely formulated at 1000 times the concentration of the vitamin components in the original NN medium recipe (including inositol, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, and nicotinic acid, but excluding glycine). When used, it is mixed with other components of the NN medium at a 1:1000 ratio (1 mL per liter of medium), and must be sterilized through a membrane filter and stored at low temperature away from light to prevent degradation. It provides suitable coenzyme support for the culture of plant anthers, endosperm, and somatic embryogenesis, being particularly suitable for in vitro tissue culture scenarios related to haploid breeding, helping reduce the occurrence of albino seedlings and promoting normal embryo differentiation.
