1000×Gamborg's Vitamin Nutrient is a high-concentration concentrated stock solution for the organic nutrient system of the Gamborg series of media (such as B5 medium). Its core is precisely formulated at 1000 times the concentration of the vitamin components in the original Gamborg medium recipe (containing high concentrations of vitamin B1, combined with vitamin B6, niacin, and inositol, without glycine). When used, it is mixed with other components of the Gamborg medium at a ratio of 1:1000 (adding 1 mL per liter of medium). It must be stored at low temperatures and protected from light to prevent degradation of its components. It provides coenzyme support suitable for the culture of dicotyledonous plants, suspension cells, and plant explants sensitive to vitamins (such as callus tissue), promoting cell division and callus growth, and meeting their specific requirement for highly active B vitamins.
