MS Medium /-N (without sucrose and agar) is a special modified version of the classic MS medium. Its core feature is the removal of nitrogen-containing components from the formula, while fully retaining macronutrients (excluding nitrogen-related ones), trace elements, chelated iron sources, and, in some versions, organic nutrients such as inositol and vitamins.
