McCown Woody Plant Base Salts with vitamins

The WPM culture medium was specifically developed in 1981 by Lloyd and McCown for culturing laurel shoot tips, derived from the MS medium with K₂SO₄ replacing KNO₃, the NH₄NO₃ content reduced to one-fourth of that in MS medium, and nitrogen supplied primarily as Ca(NO₃)₂. It is a specialized medium designed exclusively for tissue culture of woody plants.
