E. coli auto-induction medium

Overnight culture of cells in the auto-inducing medium system developed by Prime permits automatic induction of protein expression. This medium can maximize the expression of proteins in E. coli using the pET series and other IPTG-inducible prokaryotic expression systems. Its greatest convenience is that there is no need to monitor the growth density of E. coli when using this medium. Since IPTG can be toxic to the cells, using this IPTG-free auto-induction medium system, compared with traditional media, can greatly increase both the cell yield and the amount of target protein by several times.
