MS medium was designed by Murashige and Skoog in 1962 for tobacco cell culture, and is simply called MS Medium. solid medium (with Agar) is used to induce callus, and also used for embryo, stem segment, shoot tip, and anther culture, MS liquid medium is used for cell suspension culture. MS basal salt lacking sulfur, the core is low sulfur or no sulfur formula, which retains the macro and micro elements needed for plant growth. It in the form of dry powder, which is convenient for storage and transportation. It can be quickly configured into a nutrient solution with appropriate pH when used, and is mainly used for research to plant sulfur deficiency, which can make plants show sulfur deficiency physiological characteristics, and provide standard culture conditions for relevant scientific research.
