MS medium was designed by Murashige and Skoog in 1962 for tobacco cell culture, and is simply called MS Medium. solid medium (with Agar) is used to induce callus, and also used for embryo, stem segment, shoot tip, and anther culture, MS liquid medium is used for cell suspension culture. MS basal salt lacking molybdenum, the core is a low molybdenum or molybdenum-free formula which retains the macro and micro elements needed for plant growth. It exists in the form of dry powder, which is convenient for storage and transportation. It can be quickly configured into a solution with appropriate pH when used, and is mainly used for research related to molybdenum deficiency in plants, which can make plants show the physiological characteristics of molybum deficiency, and provide standard culture conditions for relevant scientific research.
