The 800× Yoshida sulfur-deficient rice nutrient solution (3 types of stock solutions) excludes sulfur in its formulation. Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, as well as other essential elements such as iron, manganese, and boron are split into the three stock solutions according to their nutritional characteristics to avoid interactions between components.
