Cytoplasmic isocitrate dehydrogenase (ICDHc) detection kit
Cytoplasmic isocitrate dehydrogenase (ICDHc) detection kit
ICDHe (EC 1.1.1.42) exists widely in animals, plants, microorganisms and cultured cells. It catalyzes the dehydrogenation and decarboxylation of isocitrate to generate α-ketoglutarate, while reducing NADP+ to form NADPH. ICDHc is another important source of NADPH in the cytoplasm besides the pentose phosphate pathway, and the activity of this enzyme usually changes significantly under adverse conditions.
