pDONR207 vector
pDONR207 is an entry vector in the Gateway system, with a vector size of 5585 bp. This vector contains a kanamycin resistance gene, which facilitates selection in bacteria. Its multiple cloning site is flanked by attL recombination sites, allowing recombination with the gene of interest through Gateway cloning technology. Gateway cloning technology is based on the site-specific recombination principle of the λ phage. The attL sites in the pDONR207 vector can recombine with a gene fragment containing attB sites through a BP reaction under the action of recombinase, cloning the gene of interest into the pDONR207 vector to form an entry clone. Subsequently, the gene of interest in the entry clone can undergo an LR reaction with a destination vector containing attR sites, transferring the gene of interest into the destination vector for subsequent studies such as gene expression.
