Mitochondrial Isocitrate Dehydrogenase (ICDHm) Detection Kit
Mitochondrial Isocitrate Dehydrogenase (ICDHm) Detection Kit
ICDHm (EC 1.1.1.41) is widely present in the mitochondria of animals, plants, microorganisms, and cultured cells. It catalyzes the conversion of isocitric acid to α-ketoglutarate in the tricarboxylic acid cycle, while reducing NAD⁺ to NADH. It is one of the rate-limiting enzymes in the tricarboxylic acid cycle, and the reaction it catalyzes is one of the main sources of cellular NADH.
