pET-28a-B2m is a recombinant E. coli expression vector constructed based on the pET-28a, which has the B2M solubility tag added to form stable and correctly folded proteins. The vector carries the T7 promoter, which is specifically recognized and regulated by T RNA polymerase, and the expression of T7 RNA polymerase can be controlled by the lac operon (such as by IPTG induction), to achieve efficient induction expression the target gene. Containing the 6xHis tag (histidine tag) at the N-terminus and C-terminus, it facilitates the rapid purification recombinant proteins by nickel ion affinity chromatography (Ni-NTA).
