pET-32a is a prokaryotic expression vector from the pET series, specifically designed to enhance the solubility and expression efficiency of recombinant proteins, especially suitable for expressing insoluble or toxic proteins. The pET32a vector is used to express soluble proteins with functional activity; the pET-32a() vector features an N-terminal Thrombin cleavage site and an N-terminal Enterokinase cleavage site. The differences between pET32a, pET32b, and pET32c vectors mainly lie in the multiple cloning sites, while other parts are completely identical.
