pBBR1MCS-4 is a cloning and expression vector widely used in Gram-negative bacteria. This vector is one of the pBBR1MCS series, which also includes pBBR1MCS-1 (ampicillin resistance), pBBR1MCS-2 (chloramphenicol resistance), and pBBR1MCS-3 (tetracycline resistance). The different members only differ in their resistance markers, while the other core elements are identical, making it convenient to choose or perform co-transformation experiments according to experimental needs.
