pet-Duet1 Vector

pET-Duet1 is a dual protein expression vector for Escherichia coli. It carries the ColE1 origin of replication from the pBR322 plasmid, the lacI gene, and an ampicillin resistance gene. The vector contains two multiple cloning sites, each composed of a T7 promoter/Lac operator and a ribosome binding site. pET-Duet1 is designed to simultaneously express two foreign genes in E. coli. This vector can be used in combination with the pACYCDuet-1 vector to co-express up to four target genes in a suitable host strain.
