pTRC-99a Vector

pTRC-99a is a commonly used Escherichia coli protein expression vector. It can be used to express both fusion and non-fusion proteins in E. coli. Complementary to the prokaryotic expression vectors of the pET system, its promoter strength is slightly weaker, but it is easier to express active proteins and reduces the likelihood of inclusion body formation.
