pGEX-4T-1 Vector

pGEX-4T-1 is a commonly used E. coli protein expression vector, belonging to the pGEX series. It can be expressed in E. coli expression strains such as BL21, Rosetta, etc., with proteins fused with the GST tag. The vector is designed with a thbin enzyme cutting site before the multicloning site, and after purification, the GST tag can be precisely removed from the target protein by thrombin to obtain the natural. Induction expression is usually performed using IPTG or lactose and its analogs.
