Service Introduction

The high-throughput yeast stress-tolerance gene screening service can quickly identify a large number of genes related to multiple stress resistances in non-model stress-tolerant species. Using yeast, under a stress screening system, genes related to resistance across the genome are screened through resistance gradient experiments, and candidate proteins are identified using proteomics for phenotype verification at the protein levevl.

Service Advantages

▶Extensive experience in yeast genetic transformation and stress response system construction over the years, effectively ensuring strain survival and experimental reproducibility;

▶Customized gradient stress condition design (such as salt stress, drought stress, low-temperature stress, etc.) to accurately match the verification needs of different proteins' stress resistance functions;

▶Integration of multidimensional detection methods including phenotype observation, growth curve measurement, and survival rate statistics to achieve comprehensive evaluation of stress resistance functions;

▶Support for parallel verification of multiple proteins and high-throughput screening, greatly improving the efficiency of screening candidate stress-resistant proteins.

TrSAMDC1 confers sorbitol, NaCl, and H2O2 tolerance when expressed in yeast (INVSc1). A demonstrates the growth of yeast under unstress conditions. B shows the growth differences between yeasts transformed with TrSAMDC1 and control yeasts on the YPG medium containing 2 mol/L sorbitol, 1.5 mol/L NaCl, or 0.3 mmol/L H2O2 in the presence of 2% galactose. C shows the survival test of yeast strains after 4 mol/L sorbitol, 4 mol/L NaCl or 2 mmol/L H2O2 treatment for 10 h.

Applicable Fields

▶Wide applicability: Suitable for various stress conditions such as drought, high and low temperatures, pesticides, heavy metals, and saline-alkali environments. Appropriate screening conditions can be explored based on the literature.

▶Reliable library screening results: After transforming the library into yeast, verification is conducted to ensure a high-quality yeast working culture, making the screening results reliable.

▶Effectively addresses key issues: For species that are difficult to genetically transform, yeast screening followed by verification in model plants ensures high result accuracy.
