pAX01 Vector
pAX01 is mainly used for expressing foreign proteins in Bacillus subtilis. For example, by cloning the medium-temperature α-amylase gene (amyL) into the pAX01 vector to construct the recombinant expression plasmid pAX01-amyL, and then transforming it into Bacillus subtilis, efficient secretion of medium-temperature α-amylase can be achieved. In addition, it can also serve as a starting vector for constructing other functional vectors. For instance, the pJMP1 plasmid, based on pAX01, can be used for gene editing in Bacillus subtilis.
