SD/-Leu/-Met/-Trp Broth
SD/-Leu/-Met/-Trp Broth
Yeast SD medium (Synthetic Dextrose Minimal Medium/ SD Minimal Medium/ SD-Dropout Medium), also known as yeast basic medium or Saccharomyces cerevisiae nutrient deficiency screening medium, is widely used in yeast interaction and yeast ion tolerance, functional complementarity, and the identification, screening and culture test of various wild-type yeasts and some mutant yeasts. Yeast SD media components include YNB (contains ammonium sulfate and contains no amino acids), glucose, 17 amino acids, and nucleotide molecules. YNB (yeast nitrogen base) provides growth factors and inorganic salts for yeast growth, ammonium sulfate as an inorganic nitrogen source, and glucose as fermentation carbon. SD/-Leu/-Met/-Trp Broth is a mixture of Minimal SD Base and DO Supplement-Leu/-Met/-Trp to screen strains that can express the component or activate related reporter genes using the Leu, Met, and Trp defects in DO Supplement-Leu/-Met/-Trp.
