SD/-Leu with Agar

The SD with Agar defective amino acid mixture is made from yeast SD medium (Synthetic Dextrose Minimal Medium/ SD Minimal Medium/ SD-Dropout Medium) mixed with agar powder, which has more agar powder coagulant compared to yeast SD medium. SD/-Leu with Agar is a mixture of Minimal SD Base, DO Supplement-Leu and agar powder that uses the Leu defect in DO Supplement-Leu to screen strains that can express this component or activate relevant reporter genes.
