p53-AbAi Vector
p53-AbAi cannot propagate in yeast as an episome and can only be stably maintained through integration into the host genome. When the GAL4 activation domain-p53 fusion protein binds to the p53 binding site upstream of AUR1-C, it induces the expression of the AUR1-C gene, thereby conferring AbA resistance to the yeast cells. In experiments, this characteristic can be used to screen for proteins that interact with p53.
