pGBKT7 is a bait vector widely used in molecular biology research, especially in the yeast two-hybrid system. Developed by Clontech, its core function is to express 'bait proteins' inside yeast cells and detect their interaction with 'prey proteins' through reporter genes. It is mainly used for the screening and verification of protein-protein interactions.
