pGBKT7-lam Vector

pGBKT7-lam is a negative control plasmid constructed based on the classic yeast two-hybrid bait vector pGBKT7. Its core function is to rule out non-specific interactions and verify the specificity of the experimental system in yeast two-hybrid experiments. The protein encoded by the human lamin B1 gene it carries has no broad-spectrum binding activity and cannot interact with most prey proteins, making it an indispensable negative control tool in yeast two-hybrid experiments.
