pGADT7-T is a positive control plasmid constructed based on the classic yeast two-hybrid prey vector pGADT7. Its core function is to serve as a 'known effective prey' in yeast two-hybrid experiments, working in conjunction with the positive control bait vector pGBKT7-53 (which contains the p53 gene) to verify the effectiveness of the experimental system. The SV40 large T antigen gene fragment it carries can specifically interact with the p53 protein, making it one of the most widely used positive control prey vectors in yeast two-hybrid experiments, used to confirm the sensitivity and reliability of the experimental system.
