The SD with Agar defective amino acid mixture is made from yeast SD medium (Synthetic Dextrose Minimal Medium/ SD Minimal Medium/ SD-Dropout Medium) mixed with agar powder, which has more agar powder coagulant compared to yeast SD medium. SD/-Leu/-Met/-Trp with Agar is a mixture of Minimal SD Base, DO Supplement-Leu-Met-Trp and agar powder to screen strains that can express the component or activate related reporter genes with the help of Leu, Met, and Trp defects in DO Supplement-Leu-Met-Trp.
