pJG4-5 Vector
pJG4-5 is a widely used prey vector in the LexA yeast two-hybrid system, developed by Gyuris and colleagues. Its core function is to express the 'activation domain - prey protein' fusion within yeast cells, working in conjunction with bait vectors containing the LexA DNA-binding domain, to detect protein-protein interactions via a reporter gene. It is especially suitable for cDNA library screening and functional verification of protein interactions.
