pSH18-34 is a reporter plasmid in the yeast two-hybrid system, belonging to an Escherichia coli - Saccharomyces cerevisiae shuttle vector. It carries the lacZ reporter gene controlled by the LexA operator, which can indicate protein-protein interactions by detecting β-galactosidase activity.
