N-Acetyl-β-D-glucosidase (NAG) Assay Kit

NAG is an acidic hydrolase in lysosomes that is widely found in various tissues, body fluids, and cells, with the highest intracellular content in prostate and renal proximal tubules. Changes in NAG activity are closely related to certain pathological states of the body.

NAG decomposes β-N-acetylglucosamine glycoside to form p-nitrophenol, which has a maximum absorption peak at 400 nm, and the activity of NAG is calculated by measuring the absorbance value increase rate.
